Giving us time to reflect on its condition. Or perhaps to consider whether its existence is necessary&#8221;.<\/em><\/p><p>Painting, both as a visual language and as a process, enables me in my practice to appropriate and reconstruct those elements that persist within our everyday imaginary.<\/p><p>Through a synthesis of forms, the variability of supports, and a symbolic approach to the treatment of color, I conceive of painting as a fertile field between reflective thought, matter, and that state or temperamental nature of pictorial space within its own temporality.<\/p><p>Some of my approaches understand painting as illusion, situated between planimetry and volume through a surreal lens. They point toward the systemic, toward design as both image and concept through urban signage, as well as toward the configuration of emblematic architectures.<\/p><p>Furthermore, as a strategic device, I expand painting as an object: a possible corporeality traversed by social processes of an industrial nature.<\/p><p>Much of my production questions the symbolic character or weight of images and physical elements which, through their allegorical or discursive charge, reconfigure and condition our associative capacities for perceiving reality.
